So here are pictures of my 5 centerpieces and my Save-the-Date.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this before but I see a lot of people going to DIY it, just maybe I might?
I might be using a Polaroid. I want to use photo frames as part of the centerpieces next to my flowers. I want to put interesting tidbits about us on each table to make it interesting and something to do for the guests. I found out about these frames from other people on wedding boards but found out they don't carry it in IKEA in New Haven. I was going to New Haven anyways so I decided to stop by IKEA and take a peak at what else the store is carrying that is cheap and that I can use and I saw this easel and some wooden frames that are supposed to go with it as they don't have a backing for a frame stand or for framing: Those go for $0.99 cents and I think the wooden frames were $2.99 for 3 or something like that. And then I saw these! They are $0.99 for 4!!! They are about 4"x6" in size and have a heavy duty cardboard as the backing with an attached stands, even though the cardboard don't work very well but since they will be on the table top standing I don't think there will be a lot of weight.
I initially thought of getting the easel to prop these frames on but I might not need to any more!! Awesome deal! Someone from TheKnot DIY forum mentioned a Wire Card Holder on MarthaStewartWeddings.com. Pretty neat :)
I completed my first centerpiece :) And started working on a couple of my bubble tubes :D Unfortunately I ran out of the ribbon so may have to work with a different one (I have a lot lol).
According to my ticker I am 300 days away from the wedding day!!!!!
I have updated a bunch of stuff that I'm too lazy to list over here LOL
Since I have to redo everything anyways pretty much everything had to be added but now this time I have more inspirational pictures! :) So I have to redo the whole site because I accidentally deleted the wrong one.
I had attempted to create a second site through this account to set it as a wedding website for guests. I was so smart, I decided to title it EXACTLY the same as my planning blog. So I have to rely on the page domain name that I have created which is different. On the front page where it lists the sites you created you can see the different URL. Anyways I didn't like how the functions are limited for a wedding website so I decided to delete. And of course I deleted my planning blog first. And here it is, the launching of the "new" site :p |
