Here are some ideas I have and the projects I am undertaking to decorate the reception space.

Centerpiece
I am handmaking the centerpieces using tissue paper and collected used tin cans, glass jars and glass bottles. I have collected a couple of interestingly shaped jars that used to hold jams and salsa.

Picture frames
I want to set up picture frames next to my centerpieces to include interesting tidbits about us and found these at IKEA for $0.99 for 4 :) Love great deals! They have a glass face and a heavy duty cardboard backing (IKEA-style LOL).

As I sift through the various posts on the TheKnot DIY forum for inspirations, I came across a post mentioning that MarthaStewartWeddings.com has a DIY table number holders made from wire. I think this is totally awesome and will most likely make these :)
